Quick answer
The EcoFlow Delta 2 is the best EcoFlow power station for most buyers in 2026 — a 1,024Wh LiFePO4 battery, 1,800W continuous AC output (2,700W via X-Boost), and a street price around $349-429, per EcoFlow’s own published specs. EcoFlow currently sells ten power-station models across three families — River, Delta, and Delta Pro — and the “Plus,” “Max,” and “Ultra” words in the name don’t reliably signal more capacity: several same-capacity models wear different suffixes purely for faster solar input, higher output, or a bigger expansion ceiling. Budget shoppers should start with the River 3 ($199-229, 245Wh); whole-home backup shoppers should look at the Delta Pro 3 (commonly $1,999-2,699, 4,096Wh).
This guide tabulates EcoFlow’s full current lineup in one place and picks the right model for five common use cases — something no single-model review on this site covers on its own.

1. EcoFlow Delta 2 — Best Overall
EcoFlow Delta 2 (1,024Wh)
- 1,024Wh of LiFePO4 capacity with a genuine 1,800W AC output (2,700W via X-Boost) and about a 50-minute recharge to 80%, per EcoFlow's own published specs.
- Carries its full 5-year warranty automatically — no app-registration step required, unlike most of the newer "Plus" models in this lineup.
- Expands to 3,040Wh with an add-on battery if a weekend trip grows into a longer one.

The Delta 2 still undercuts its own newer sibling, the Delta 3, on price despite identical 1,024Wh capacity — see our full EcoFlow Delta 2 review for the complete breakdown against the Anker SOLIX C1000, Jackery Explorer 1000 v2, and Bluetti AC180.
2. EcoFlow River 3 — Best Budget / Ultralight
EcoFlow River 3 (245Wh)
- 245Wh LiFePO4 in a 7.8 lb body — one of the lightest true-LiFePO4 stations EcoFlow makes.
- 0-100% wall recharge in about 60 minutes, per EcoFlow's own specs, among the fastest at any price.
- X-Boost mode pushes continuous output to 600W for light appliances that would otherwise trip the 300W ceiling.
Read our full EcoFlow River 3 review for how it stacks up against the EcoFlow River 3 Plus and the Bluetti EB3A. Needing more output but still want the smallest step up? The River 3 Plus doubles continuous output to 600W and adds an expansion-battery path for about $70-100 more. Chasing raw capacity instead of output? The older River 2 Max still sells near the same street price and holds nearly double the River 3 Plus’s base battery (512Wh vs. 286Wh) — not part of this current lineup, but worth cross-shopping before you buy.
3. EcoFlow Delta 3 — Best for Faster Charging and Longer Cycle Life
EcoFlow Delta 3 (1,024Wh)
- Identical 1,024Wh capacity and 1,800W continuous output to the Delta 2 — this is not a capacity upgrade.
- EcoFlow rates its LiFePO4 cells for about 4,000 cycles to 80%, versus roughly 3,000 on the Delta 2, and its 56-minute recharge figure is a genuine 0-100% number rather than the Delta 2's 0-80% figure.
- 3,600W surge rating (versus the Delta 2's 2,700W X-Boost ceiling) handles motor-driven loads the Delta 2 can't start.
Buying fresh rather than upgrading from a Delta 2 you already own? The Delta 3’s longer cycle life and real 0-100% recharge speed are worth the roughly $200-280 premium over the Delta 2 — see our full EcoFlow Delta 3 review for the complete comparison.
4. EcoFlow Delta 2 Max — Best 2kWh-Class Value
EcoFlow Delta 2 Max (2,048Wh)
- Doubles the Delta 2's capacity to 2,048Wh while keeping the same proven Delta 2 platform.
- 2,400W continuous AC output covers most single large appliances, including many window AC units and full-size fridges.
- The newer Delta 3 Max Plus steps up to 3,000W continuous and a faster recharge for about $300-400 more, if output matters more than price.
See our full EcoFlow Delta 2 Max review for the detailed breakdown against both the base Delta 2 and the newer Delta 3 Max Plus.
5. EcoFlow Delta Pro 3 — Best Whole-Home Flagship
EcoFlow Delta Pro 3 (4,096Wh)
- 4,096Wh LiFePO4 with 4,000W continuous output (8,000W via X-Boost) and expandable to 12kWh, EcoFlow's current whole-home-capable flagship.
- Recharges 0-80% in about 50 minutes via X-Stream AC charging — roughly twice as fast as the older Delta Pro's 1.7-hour figure, per EcoFlow's own published specs.
- Rated for 4,000 cycles to 80% depth, fewer than the original Delta Pro's 6,500-plus at a shallower 50% depth — the two ratings use different benchmarks and aren't directly comparable.

What EcoFlow’s “Plus,” “Max,” and “Ultra” naming actually means
This is the real trap in EcoFlow’s lineup: the suffixes describe different things on different models, not a consistent capacity tier.
- Delta 3 Plus holds the exact same 1,024Wh as the base Delta 3 — “Plus” there means faster solar input and a higher expansion ceiling, not more battery.
- Delta 3 Max Plus holds the same 2,048Wh as the plain Delta 3 Max — “Plus” there means 3,000W continuous output instead of 2,400W, double the solar input, and a faster recharge, per EcoFlow’s own spec sheets.
- Delta 3 Ultra Plus is a genuinely different capacity tier at 3,072Wh, expandable to 11kWh — here “Ultra” does signal a real step up, which is exactly why it’s easy to assume every suffix works the same way.
- Warranty length follows the same inconsistent pattern. The Delta 2 carries its full 5-year warranty with no registration step. The Delta 3 Plus, Delta 3 Max Plus, and Delta 3 Ultra Plus all ship with only a 3-year standard warranty — the extra 2 years require registering the unit in the EcoFlow app, a pattern this site has also flagged on Pecron and Jackery units.
The fix is simple: ignore the suffix and check the Wh number and the warranty terms directly before comparing price. Our LiFePO4 vs. lithium-ion guide covers the battery-chemistry side of EcoFlow’s lineup if you’re also comparing against other brands.
The bottom line
The EcoFlow Delta 2 remains the best EcoFlow power station for most buyers — proven, fast-charging, and still priced below its own newer same-capacity sibling. Budget buyers should start with the River 3, buyers who want faster charging and a longer cycle life should pay the premium for the Delta 3, 2kWh-class buyers get the best value from the Delta 2 Max, and whole-home backup buyers should look at the Delta Pro 3. Whichever model you’re considering, check the watt-hour number and the warranty terms directly — EcoFlow’s own “Plus”/“Max”/“Ultra” naming doesn’t reliably tell you either one.
